Egg in a Basket
An easy and tasty breakfast!!

Egg in a Basket,
Ingredients:
1 egg
1 slice of bread
Butter
Seasoning (of your chose)
Cost: $1.00
Start by getting a slice of bread. Cut a hole into the middle of the bread. Make it big enough so an egg can fit inside it. Then on one side of the bread, smer butter onto that side. Next place it non-butter side up on a pan on the oven which is set to median high temp. Then crack the egg and place it in the middle of the bread. Wait till the white stuff is white all around. It is now ready to be fliped to the other side. Once fliped this is the time to add seasoning. this could be pepper, salt or really anything. Now if you want the yock to be cooked, poke the egg till the yock is visable. if you dont want it to be cooked, leave it alone. wait 3 minutes. Then if you did want the yocked cooked then flip it over again for 1 minute. After 1 minute, the meal is done. If you wanted the yock not to be cooked, Then do not flip the bread again.

- 1 package (1/4 ounce) active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1-1/4 cups warm water (110° to 115°)
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
- 3 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 medium green pepper, diced
- 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

- In large bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in water; let stand for 5 minutes. Add oil and salt. Stir in flour, a cup at a time, until a soft dough forms.
- Turn onto floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 2-3 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease the top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 45 minutes. Meanwhile, cook beef and onion over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.
- Punch down dough; divide in half. Press each into a greased 12-in. pizza pan. Combine the tomato sauce, oregano and basil; spread over each crust. Top with beef mixture, green pepper and cheese.
- Bake at 400° for 25-30 minutes or until crust is lightly browned.Yield: 2 pizzas (3 servings each).
Breakfast Burrito
Ingredients

- 12eggs, beaten
- 1lb bulk sausage, cooked (or crumbled links)
- 1⁄2cup chunky salsa (your choice of heat)
- 2cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 24flour tortillas (you can also use whole wheat)
- Optional Ingredients
- 1green pepper, finely diced (optional)
- 6potatoes, shredded and fried until cooked through (optional) or 6 hash browns (optional)
- jalapeno, slices (optional)
- 1(4 ounce) canchopped green chilies (optional)
- 1 -2garlic clove, finely minced (optional)
- 1onion, finely diced (optional)
- 1tomatoes, peeled and chopped (optional)
- 2green onions, sliced with tops (optional)
How to Make:
- Scramble eggs in large skillet until .one; stir in cooked sausage and salsa.
- Warm tortillas in microwave 20-30 seconds or until warm and flexible.
- Place 1/2 cup egg mixture into tortilla; roll burrito-style.
- Freeze burritos in single layer on lightly greased cookie sheet.
- When fully frozen, wrap burritos individually; place wrapped burritos in large zip-top freezer bags; freeze.
- TO SERVE: Unwrap burritos from foil or plastic wrap that you used for freezing.
- Wrap in a paper towel.
- Cook in microwave until heated through (about 2 minutes).
- Or thaw burritos (remove plastic wrap if used in freezing), wrap burritos in foil, and bake at 350 degrees for ten minutes.
How to make Vanilla Ice Cream

- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 1/4 cups milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Ready In 2hrs and 35mins
-Stir sugar, cream, and milk into a saucepan over low heat until sugar has dissolved.
-Heat just until mix is hot and a small ring of foam appears around the edge.
-Transfer cream mixture to a pourable container such as a large measuring cup.
- Stir in vanilla extract and chill mix thoroughly, at least 2 hours. (Overnight is best.)
-Pour cold ice cream mix into an ice cream maker, turn on the machine, and churn according to manufacturer's directions, 20 to 25 minutes.
-When ice cream is softly frozen, serve immediately or place a piece of plastic wrap directly on the ice cream and place in freezer to ripen, 2 to 3 hours.

Jambalaya
Ingredients
Serves: Makes 8 (1-cup) servings.

- Heat oil in large heavy skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken and sausage; cook and stir 5 minutes. Remove from skillet.
- Stir onion into skillet; cook and stir on medium heat 2 minutes or until onion is softened. Stir in Seasoning. Return chicken and sausage to skillet.
- Stir in broth and tomatoes; bring to boil. Stir in rice. Reduce heat to low; cover and cook 20 to 25 minutes or until rice is tender, stirring occasionally.
